Black Jack Rule Information

The purpose of any blackjack player according to the Black Jack Rule is to end with a higher hand total than the dealer without exceeding 21. In all the Blackjack variants, the card values are alike: all the numbered (2-10) cards have the value as indicated, all the picture cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) have the value of 10, and the Ace can be valued as 1 or 11 depending what will make the player hand less likely to win. The hand that goes over the count of 21 is called to Bust and loses automatically. In game of Blackjack, the player’s hand is compared simply against the the dealer’s one, which makes other gamblers’ hands unnecessary.

The cards are dealt

As soon as all the gamers have finished their bets, the dealer deals the cards. One by one a gambler is dealt two cards facing up and the dealer places 2 cards, 1 up and other down. As soon as all the gamers have received the cards, the dealer moves from one gambler to the following so that each one of them can choose how does he or she wish to gamble his hand.

The player options in Blackjack game consist of such decisions as to Stand, Insure, and Hit, Double Down, and Split etc.

Surrender option allows the gamer to forfeit his hand and get back 1/2 of the original bet.

Hit means asking for an extra card.

Standing option is asking for no cards.

Doubling Down option is doubling a bet and asking to be dealt only a single card.

Splitting means having splitting gambler’s hand to make 2 independent hands and multiplying on 2 the initial bet. This solution is provided just once the initial two cards received were of one and the same count.

Insurance is an solution allowed to the gamers if the croupier up card is the Ace. An insurance wager pays out 2/1 and most of the time costs 0.5 of the first wager. In case the dealer has a Blackjack (Natural), the player forfeits the original bet, but gets the insurance bet and the pay out back.

After all the gamblers have made up their mind, the croupier gambles his hand. The dealer shows the down card (also known as the hole card) and decides whether to hit or ask for no more cards, as all the rest solutions are just for players. The dealer plays right conforming to the casino Black Jack Rule, it is prohibited that he acts on his own. All the croupiers must hit until the total value of the hand is higher or exactly 17. Rarely the Black Jack Rule may change according to if the hand is hard or soft 17 (has or does not have the Ace), nevertheless, the original Black Jack Rule concerns all the 17s.

Black Jack Rule: Natural, Blackjack

The hand total 21 in the first 2 cards (a 10-valued card and the Ace) is named a Blackjack or a Natural. This is the winning combination and pays out three to two unless dealer’s hand combination is also a Natural, that means the hands Push (tie) (the bets are given back in the full amount). Another important thing is that If your first 2 cards are a pair of Aces and you have opted to split, and one of the following cards is a 10 valued card, such hand is not considered as a Blackjack or a Natural, but simply a hand with a total of 21.
